Harry G. Neff, M.Ed., LMHC, has been a clinical mental health therapist since 2007, and is passionate about our ability to grow our sense of security that helps us to thrive in our lives.  His style of helping people has led him to starting a non-clinical side to his work that includes therapeutic groups, retreats, workshops, consultation, and life-coaching for individuals and couples.  Through a variety of approaches that he has learned over his career, and his own personal self-development, he seeks to help you find the security that you are hardwired for.  He has extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, and Attachment Theory along with a number of other approaches to understanding our healing process. Harry has been inspired and guided by attachment theory which for example, researcher Daniel Siegel talks about how a chid is born into the world hardwired to experience security. We are born into the world ready to feel delighted in, empowered, protected, connected and nurtured, but when we don’t get that, it is deeply painful and understandably creates protective patterns that end up being unhelpful in adulthood. The good news is that even if you are like most people out there who have some unhelpful patterns, it is never too late to change.
